The turn of the 20th century brought two trends of disempowerment: Urbanization and industrialization. Both trends dislocated people from a grounded psychological perspective of self. Corporations swooped in with brand identity stories and became the focal point for our self-creative process. Reclaiming our power to speak our own future means abandoning the corporate brand world and finding that essence of self and creativity that can only come from within.
