Fading suns, but will always be number one to me
I started listening to these guys when it was just Matt, Ian, and Dave talking nerdy movies, board games, RC cars for Dave’s kids, rogs, the difference between Ameritrash and Eurogames, the New 52 comics, minis, their favorite toys (no Dave NES is not a toy), and all the cool stuff. I was in Maine, and a New England native myself, and it felt like what my high school friends and ai would have been like if we hadn’t lost touch.
They got me through some dark times when my mom and dad were really sick…listening to great friends talk about stuff I loved, and laughing so much, made it a little easier. :) you guys are the best.
They don’t record as much as they used to, and maybe never will again. Lives and such. The real shame is that the back catalogue is gone. So many gems in there. If you ever take up a collection to raise money to host it, i’d be first in line
I’ll just close by saying thanks for the memories and the great laughs. You really felt like friends. You geeks rock. Flag flying proudly. —Anthony
