In this episode we introduce a new segment of the show entitled “Street Vibes: The Pulse Of The People.” We will break this episode up in three segments: 1. We introduce the new sub program or segment and comment on the themes of power, privilege, position and status and the challenge they pose for humanity. We will then break with an interlude and move into Segment 2 where I wrap with Lisa, a random passenger I picked up in Philadelphia who was more than happy to discuss issues of power and the dynamics of peoples in society. Lisa is not an academic but provided a meaningful perspective to these discussions and shared a concern about her community. We then break with an interlude and then move into Segment 3, where I provide a recording of an impromptu wrap session I was leading introducing “Neoliberalism.” This segment contains one or two expletives and the word Nig*a is mentioned but without malice or I’ll intention as the expressions were used in gesture or with humor and within an unprofessional and impromptu manner.
