The Murder Diaries

Chautauqua County is the westernmost county in New York - it stretches from Lake Erie down to the Pennsylvania state line. The largest city is Jamestown, around 70 miles southwest of Buffalo. Apart from Jamestown, the rest of the county is made up of smaller towns and villages, with less than 150,000 people living in the whole county. In the late 90’s and early 2000’s three women went missing from Chautauqua County; Lori Bova, Yolanda Bindics, and Corrie Anderson. Their disappearances happened in different years, different locations, and the women were all different ages but their cases intertwine. Corrie Anderson Anyone with information regarding Corrie’s case is asked to call the New York State Police at 716-665-3114. She has green eyes and chin length blond hair. She was last seen wearing black corduroy pants, a black leather jacket, and small, wired-rimmed glasses. Lori Bova Anyone with information regarding Lori’s case is asked to call the Lakewood-Busti Police at (716) 763-9563. You can remain anonymous. Remember, any tiny detail could be key to the investigation. Britney Tiger, a beautiful, young Native American woman from Oklahoma disappeared from her home in the middle of the night. A month later, a cattle rancher found her decomposed body, 40 miles away. This episode is dedicated to Jordan's mom, Tina Jefferson-King, who passed shortly before its air date. Today on the Murder Diaries we’re speaking with Tina Jefferson-King and Akemi Taylor. Tina’s son, Jordan Jefferson, was shot and killed on March 30, 2021 outside a home in Beloit, Wisconsin. He was a 33-year-old father of two, who was known to be creative and skilled at a number of trades like jewelry design and making custom subwoofers. Two years later, a suspect has been arrested and charged in Jordan’s murder, and the Jefferson-King family wants the world to know what happened. On a night in October, Leona Kinsey met a man in a supermarket parking lot and she hasn’t been seen or heard from since. At the time of her disappearance, Leona Kinsey was 5’2’, 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was of Native American and Caucasian descent with an almond colored complexion. She had small scars on the outside of both feet and next to her pinky toes and pinky fingers. She had a tattoo on her bicep of a tomahawk and a peace pipe crossed over each other. In June of 2013, Tempe, Arizona was rocked when 19-year old college student Adrienne Salinas disappeared. Two months later, her remains were found in the desert, thirty miles away. Today on the Murder Diaries, we have the ever-inspiring Jane Boroski, who survived an attempted murder attack by the still unidentified Connecticut river valley killer. Her life was forever altered on what started out as a typical August day in 1988. 22-year-old Jane was seven months pregnant and making her way home from an evening at a local summer fair in New Hampshire. She made a pit stop at a convenience store to grab a soda and was assaulted after a strange man approached her car. Jane and her unborn daughter were left for dead after being stabbed 27 times.
