Happy New Year from The Movie Spiel! Alex and Ryan recorded a special episode on New Year's Eve to help ring in 2023! Friends and family join in on this episode to give everyone their favorite movies and shows of 2022 and what they are looking forward to in 2023! Alex and Ryan have been out of action for most of 2022, being super busy with who-knows-what. But more Movie Spiel episodes will be coming in 2023. You can count on that!

Alex and Ryan wrap up their three part series on the Academy Awards talking about best picture winners since 2000, where the Academy gets it wrong and right, some of the most egregious snubs, and a grab bag of other notable Oscars tidbits, like how somehow John Goodman doesn't have an Oscar nomination but Owen Wilson and Jeff Goldblum do.
