In preparation for making our podcast, my cohost and I chose a top 5 list of podcasts that we enjoyed. And we BOTH had the Mouse Club on our list. There are 100s of Disney casts out there, and what sticks out for us are people who get excited about other people getting excited for Disney. There’s no shame, no pretentiousness, just happiness! And we LOVE Marissa because she genuinely loves talking about Disney and talking WITH her audience which is a crazy hard dynamic to have when doing a podcast. When I listen to this podcast I feel like I’m having a personal conversation with an insider that I wouldn’t normally have access to. I really enjoy her honest insight and when she shares her personal experiences. But there is a bonus on her episodes that is what keeps me coming back. Aside from the interesting news topics and park updates, this podcaster makes lots of recommendations that I can actually use and enjoy for myself once the podcast is over. For example, I have found Marissa has phenomenal taste in movies so now I excitedly wait for her movie reviews and seasonal recommendations. Also, she makes suggestions about things to do in Orlando besides the theme parks. I didn’t realize how much I would appreciate those recommendations until I considered I may not be able to spend all of my vacation days at the parks due to all of the Covid changes. My favorite episodes so far was the episode about things to do in Orlando during fall. I have actually saved three of her recommendations on my Pinterest account and plan to check them out for myself the next time I’m in the area.

Marissa is an absolute shining light, and her podcast reflects her lovely personality and amazing knowledge of Disney World and Universal Studios, and much more. I definitely recommend you subscribe and hang out at the Mouse Club for some good pure fun and great info and insightful discussions!
