The Mostly Unbusy Mom
The Mostly Unbusy Mom

Are you a busy mom flying through her days feeling overwhelmed, overworked, and constantly busy? Do you think there is no way you can be organized, unbusy, healthy, and happy while taking care of your family and your work? Do you want a life that you enjoy most of the time? What is mostly unbusy? I have been obsessed with decluttering, creating more space in my life, and getting healthy for the past couple of years, but no program or system ever really stuck. Sure the closet would be clean, I would use my new planner or eat “healthy” for a couple of weeks. But then life would happen, and all that planning would suddenly go out the window. I would feel bad about the state of my house, day, and body, but I would also feel bad about myself. Why couldn’t I stick to these plans? And then a realization hit me. I don’t want to be unbusy, decluttered, healthy, or happy all of the time. I want it most of the time. I want a decluttered house, but sometimes I would rather spend my time doing something fun. I want to have an organized day with free time for me, but sometimes I want to be busy, like when I am in the middle of a project. I really want to eat foods that make my body feel good, but I also want to eat treats and enjoy food. And sometimes I don’t want to be happy. I just want to be pissed off and in a bad mood. The Mostly Unbusy Mom Podcast focuses on the following: We will look at the small steps to becoming mostly unbusy that are simple, sustainable, and kind. I will share what worked for me and what totally bombed. We will explore how to cut out the things that no longer matter, work, or are necessary. We will discuss when and why you might want to be busy, cluttered, unhealthy, and unhappy. And we will be mostly happy!
