Sorry for the week-late upload...been a tad ill as of late.  Hopefully this episode will be worth the wait (it wont, but let's all pretend) and with any luck we will be back on our regular schedule by next week.  (Or the week after and the schedule has been offset by a week forever now...unsure).  In any case, yet another A24 film staring Alicia Vikander, Domhnall Gleeson, Oscar Isaac has graced our listening appendages this day.  At this rate, I'm starting to think Michael is doing this to me on purpose somehow...

Two scruffy nerf herders (that's us) decide to rewatch an arguably flawed block buster staring quite a few people including: Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Gwendoline Christie, Kelly Marie Tran, Laura Dern, and Benicio del Toro.  Will this mediocre duo have anything truly surprising to say that they haven't already said in previous episodes? ...actually, maybe.  You might be surprised.  I know we were a bit.  

New Format Time!  ...sorta.  Not a big change, but we are adding a reaction clip show (or a "Peanut Gallery reel" if you will) do the middle of the show and doing away with the spoilerific clips in the warning at the beginning.  If you think this new format is as good as this 2019 sorta-zombie-sorta-just-an-excuse-to-put-Adam Driver-and-Bill Murray-in-the-same-room-film, then let us know!  Our twitter handle is @mostlymoviespod and I believe there is a vote going on right now for a listener's choice movie picking, so do at least go vote so that I don't have to make the deciding vote myself again...Oh and this movies stars a bunch of the following folk:  Bill Murray, Adam Driver, Chloë Sevigny, Steve Buscemi, RZA, Tilda Swinton, Tom Waits, Danny Glover, Caleb Landry Jones, Rosie Perez, Carol Kane, and Selena Gomez.  

Michael gets extra wanky and leagues deep into metaphors.  Brian gets frustrated and shouts a bit.  The podcast survives yet another episode, thanks to this cult classic staring Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett, Willem Dafoe, Michael Gambon, Jeff Goldblum, Anjelica Huston, and Owen Wilson.  

This one's a long one...I'd like to say that it was because "there was just so much good stuff to talk about that I had to leave it all in!"  ...but mostly it's because we just had a lot of movies to go through and I didn't feel like editing it down that much.  So, here we are, In our first episode of the year as we briefly talk about most of the movies we saw over this past year.  Starring the ever clueless Brian, and the ever knowledgeable Michael.

Join us, dear listeners, on a 1920's themed spectacle of an ear-listenin', as we constantly lose track of our precious time spent reviewing this film.  This particular iteration of this store stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Carey Mulligan, Joel Edgerton, Isla Fisher and Elizabeth Debicki.

Being blindsided by life isn't always that bad.  It often brings change to your life, and that change can lead to personal growth in ways you don't expect...other times, your friend sits you down and has you watch a bad drug-trip come to life on your 4k screen then makes you discuss it in length so that the internet can listen to your mental breakdown in real time.  This "cult-classic" stars Johnny Depp, Benicio del Toro, and a couple cameos from Toby Maguire and even Debbie Reynolds (voice only though).   

Greetings.  It is I, The Brian.  I too was astounded when I first learned that my fellow co-host Michael had not seen such a classical piece of film (not that it's a "must watch" exactly, but considering his passion for the industry it was surprising he hadn't sought it out himself by now).   And so, being the gracious co-host that I am, I took it upon myself to forcefully cram this movie down poor Michael's eyeholes.  This influential 1952 piece stars Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor, and Debbie Reynolds.  

Spooky Scary movie times!  (addendum-mildly spooky scary movie times).  This episode is our Halloween special episode...which in retrospect, we really didn't do all that much special for it, other than not pick this movie based on the previous movie's list of actors...oh well.  To get ourselves in the Halloweeny mood, we watched this here spooky mystery staring  Kevin Bacon, Kathryn Erbe, Illeana Douglas and Kevin Dunn.
