The Utah state legislature granted funding this session for more maternal mental health resources. Host Lindsay Aerts talks with the director of Public Policy at the YWCA Utah, Erin Jemmison about where the money will go. They discuss how the Health Department will help women in rural communities with a tele-mental health program, create a resource and referral network for providers to screen more women and know what to do once they test positive for a mood disorder, get more paid staff, and create peer support programs.
