Modesto has wrapped up its investigation of the April 2018 on-the-job death of electrician assistant Tyrone Darnell Hairston with a final report and firing one of his co-workers. Modesto expects to terminate one electrician as soon as this week. Hairston’s other co-worker retired effective Monday. His supervisor retired in August.
