Robert Strock has the extraordinary ability to make you think about things in a completely new way. He is a humanist in the most profound sense of the word. His way of articulating and exploring the issues we face today is deeply moving.

Thanks for offering new, systemic, win-win options for challenges that have seemed intractable to many of us. The breadth, depth and spirit of this podcast is inspiring.

As a woman of color who grew up in low income neighborhoods it’s really refreshing to hear someone not only bring awareness to the problems our communities and other marginalized folk face, but to also discuss the potential solutions that don’t treat people as disposable. Working with empathy, kindness and honesty isn’t always easy, but it is necessary and this podcast shows how it can also be sustainable in “the real world”. I really encourage anyone interested to take some time to listen to this podcast as a way to start healing our communities and ourselves along the way.

Amazing podcast , it doesn’t just tell you farming can be toxic but how it can be. They tell you examples as such doing irrigation farming can be harmful to communities and environments. Being educated on this topic gives you more of a deep dive in farming and planting. This podcast wants you to do more for your community and environment.

We need this podcast now more than ever. Making a contribution, improving and healing our environment (be it regenerative agriculture or homelessness) it all seems overwhelming….Therefore, nothing gets done. In listening to each podcast I am both educated and given a direction in which I can do my part to improve not only to life of my immediate family but, that of the greater whole. Fascinating and inspiring.

The Missing Conversation is right time, right space. The world (as a whole) sits in a reckoning window of opportunity on many critical fronts. Robert “dares” to shatter the deafening silence and/or reluctance that accompanies topics like inequity, systemic empowerment versus disenfranchisement, and self-serving politics. All the “nasty” conversations the greater majority of the “haves” avoid while the “have-nots” are strategically tuned out. Truly “The Missing Conversation”. This is exactly what the world needs the most right now. Having known Robert for 3 decades I can attest to his impeccable integrity and passion for this groundbreaking work. Connecting our inner conversations with ourselves with the essential outer conversations needed for profound change is indeed what has been missing, and Robert and his guests offer step-by-step guidance as to how to get there.

this is a wonderful introduction to encourage all of us to try to start to make a change in the way we look at what is important for each of us in terms of what/who we want to take care of with our 'resources'. we all focus on ourselves or our close 'inner circle' and giving to the community, country, world/plsnry is not usually the priority. and our poiticians are mirroring this so we get into a cycle that leads to a 'broken' planet, and this leads to a great deal of suffering for our fellow man/woman who are in dire conditions at the moment. Robert has a way of creating awareness that heals and I am very much looking foward to this series because i know he will lay out some very sensible and heart touching ways for us to begin to change our 'wired' way of thinking.

I highly recommend this podcast to all. For an issue that is literally all around me, yet finding myself still looking away most of the time due to my discomfort, this podcast is so beneficial. Each guest breaking down the issue, in their own unique way, so it is accessible and understandable, while at the same time compassionate, humanizing, and inspiring. I could feel a layer of my discomfort starting to lift as I listened to one episode after another. Thank you, Robert, and all your guests.

The World Needs Regenerative Farming ASAP. Regeneration farming should be the future of farming. We need to increase the health of the top soil which increases the ability of the soil to fight off diseases and insect infestation. It also strengthens the soil against climate change, improves biodiversity and increases crop production. Soil health increases crop yields and improves the crops ability to fight off extreme weather. Regeneration of the soil reduces greenhouse gasses by capturing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere through cultivation in agriculture. Besides soil health, regenerative farming also helps to increase water retention and reduces carbon emissions. Management of grazing reduces soil degradation. Adding organic manures and compost build soil organic carbon. Crop rotation and rotational grazing allow nutrients in the soil to be retained within the soil and increases soil fertility. The practices of regenerative farming, therefore, assists in regulating the natural ecosystem, increases the health of soil microbial communities and biodiversity. Thank you Robert Strock

A few years ago, I went to a think tank regarding homelessness and solutions to the issue. We studied a UBI (universal basic income) as a proposed solution, and I love that this podcast explores what needs to happen and what can happen to help solve some the challenges that homelessness brings.

I truly believe if we can implement these ideas we can end homelessness.

The transection of our personal emotional challenges, homelessness, climate change, mean spirited politics, and social division, may seem fuzzy, until you listen to The Missing Conversation. As the sentiment of worry and confusion raises among my peers (mainly young adults and teens), we are in search of optimistic guiding voices. Robert Strock has been one of those voices for me and now with his new podcast he has the chance to reach many more individuals who seek a better future. From informing listeners of the necessity of regenerative farming to giving advise of how to navigate our clouded political climate, each episode is filled with strong insights. It is with these insights that my generation can better visualize their own goals and make the right steps towards turning them into something tangible.

I don’t quite often hear too many white men talk about, care about and actively work towards making transformative change within homeless communities, to be honest. I respect the commitment Robert has in bringing forth these issues to educate folks but to also change the structures and living conditions in which vulnerable communities are harmed and abused. I think the podcasts are incredible and the knowledge he is bringing forth is necessary and much needed.

I have worked with Robert personally and his humanitarian view has changed how I see the world. The lens at which he approaches all aspects of life has taught me me to re-examinethe effects our actions have on the world and how we can learn so much by listening to each other.

Your personal story of survival and strength gives hope that we can call on our collective strength to support the homeless epidemic as well as the earth’s plight into devastation….🙏🏻
