Think less ‘politics’ and more ‘a call-to-action’ to the heart of humanity.
Reminds me of another futurist—Dr. Jean Shinoda Bolen—who shares this rare ability to speak both passionately and pragmatically—about sustainability—at the same time. Think less ‘politics’ and more ‘a call-to-action’ to the heart of humanity.

Great podcast!
As a woman of color who grew up in low income neighborhoods it’s really refreshing to hear someone not only bring awareness to the problems our communities and other marginalized folk face, but to also discuss the potential solutions that don’t treat people as disposable. Working with empathy, kindness and honesty isn’t always easy, but it is necessary and this podcast shows how it can also be sustainable in “the real world”. I really encourage anyone interested to take some time to listen to this podcast as a way to start healing our communities and ourselves along the way.

Robert Strock has made a profound contribution to the public’s discourse, addressing some of the most challenging issues of our time head on. I can’t get over the directness and much needed passion in the Episodes on Psycho-Politics….. it’s both painful to reflect on how stuck we are and inspiring to contemplate his solutions and feel encouraged to look for our own 🙏🙏

Critical Information
We need this podcast now more than ever. Making a contribution, improving and healing our environment (be it regenerative agriculture or homelessness) it all seems overwhelming….Therefore, nothing gets done. In listening to each podcast I am both educated and given a direction in which I can do my part to improve not only to life of my immediate family but, that of the greater whole. Fascinating and inspiring.

Timely and On-Point
The Missing Conversation is right time, right space. The world (as a whole) sits in a reckoning window of opportunity on many critical fronts. Robert “dares” to shatter the deafening silence and/or reluctance that accompanies topics like inequity, systemic empowerment versus disenfranchisement, and self-serving politics. All the “nasty” conversations the greater majority of the “haves” avoid while the “have-nots” are strategically tuned out. Truly “The Missing Conversation”. Robert is not only bold in his posture while offering a well contrived blueprint as a viable starting point. Robert, thanks your spirit is in the right place.

psycho politics
this is a wonderful introduction to encourage all of us to try to start to make a change in the way we look at what is important for each of us in terms of what/who we want to take care of with our 'resources'. we all focus on ourselves or our close 'inner circle' and giving to the community, country, world/plsnry is not usually the priority. and our poiticians are mirroring this so we get into a cycle that leads to a 'broken' planet, and this leads to a great deal of suffering for our fellow man/woman who are in dire conditions at the moment. Robert has a way of creating awareness that heals and I am very much looking foward to this series because i know he will lay out some very sensible and heart touching ways for us to begin to change our 'wired' way of thinking.

I highly recommend this podcast to all. For an issue that is literally all around me, yet finding myself still looking away most of the time due to my discomfort, this podcast is so beneficial. Each guest breaking down the issue, in their own unique way, so it is accessible and understandable, while at the same time compassionate, humanizing, and inspiring. I could feel a layer of my discomfort starting to lift as I listened to one episode after another. Thank you, Robert, and all your guests.

An Outline for Change
Robert Strock is inspirational in his approach and vision to affect change in a desperate world. Tackling subjects from Housing for the Homeless or better stated "Unsheltered," to his insights into Psycho Politics and how we must take personal responsibility for decisions affecting global issues. From the restoration of our declining eco systems to regenerative agriculture and perspectives of restoring the depleted condition of our soil, Robert Strock sheds light on subjects that we can no longer deny. It is clearly time to step up and take a swing for humanity.

THIS IS GENIUS!!!
The World Needs Regenerative Farming ASAP. Regeneration farming should be the future of farming. We need to increase the health of the top soil which increases the ability of the soil to fight off diseases and insect infestation. It also strengthens the soil against climate change, improves biodiversity and increases crop production. Soil health increases crop yields and improves the crops ability to fight off extreme weather. Regeneration of the soil reduces greenhouse gasses by capturing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere through cultivation in agriculture. Besides soil health, regenerative farming also helps to increase water retention and reduces carbon emissions. Management of grazing reduces soil degradation. Adding organic manures and compost build soil organic carbon. Crop rotation and rotational grazing allow nutrients in the soil to be retained within the soil and increases soil fertility. The practices of regenerative farming, therefore, assists in regulating the natural ecosystem, increases the health of soil microbial communities and biodiversity. Thank you Robert Strock

Much Needed Conversation
A few years ago, I went to a think tank regarding homelessness and solutions to the issue. We studied a UBI (universal basic income) as a proposed solution, and I love that this podcast explores what needs to happen and what can happen to help solve some the challenges that homelessness brings.

These ideas really will change how we work homeless and regenerative agriculture

In a world of so many complexities, it’s easy to feel paralysis of what our next step can be to solve these pressing issues. Working with challenging emotions
I was introduced to Robert through a group session with Susan Hough (living your gifts) After sharing my story he gave me a deeper insight to my challenging emotions. It gave me a different perspective on how to contain the emotion and not let it run me.

A conversation we can’t afford to miss
This is a conversation we can’t afford to miss. It teaches us the possibilities that open up when we expand our definition of community beyond our own neighborhood, family and friends to our city, county and beyond. It helps us to take the first step towards personal responsibility and to realize that the true cost of homelessness, climate change and disenfranchisement impacts us all in so many ways. It also shows the power of building on the work of others and how collaboration leads to innovative solutions.
Robert Strock clearly understands the power of words to create movement. Each concept is communicated in simple, concise but impactful language. Each question leads the speaker to examine the concept, convey the message clearly and lead us to “the why.” It is clear that each word he chooses is considered and mindful. This podcast forces us to reconsider how we relate to the world around us. Thank you for engaging us in this conversation.

The Education & Exposure We Need
I don’t quite often hear too many white men talk about, care about and actively work towards making transformative change within homeless communities, to be honest. I respect the commitment Robert has in bringing forth these issues to educate folks but to also change the structures and living conditions in which vulnerable communities are harmed and abused. I think the podcasts are incredible and the knowledge he is bringing forth is necessary and much needed.
