Love the diverse topics being discussed in this podcast. It's funny and REAL. It's like I'm sitting down with some friends and talking about films we watched. Looking forward to more content!

The premise and setup of the show is pretty rad: The hosts discuss their memories of the film before rewatching. Then they discuss how they feel about the film now. Lots of interesting takes and fun tangents. I especially enjoyed their episode on The Exorcist. I think my favorite thing about the show is that it gets me itching to rewatch each movie they discuss - even if they don’t give the film much love. (Independence Day is a gem, people!)

The Memory Distillery seems like nothing too original at first - couple of guys talking about movies...but at least once or twice an episode they get going on nonsensical rants and hilarious sequel ideas. They’ve got me hooked now.

Loved the show and the topics so far are great! I am subscribing and adding to my playlist! You should do the same!

This is a show about nostalgia. They do a tremendous job taking you back to another time.

If you ever recite old movie lines to see which of your friends can catch or finish it, you’d appreciate this podcast. Have you ever rewatched your favorite childhood film and thru the lens of an adult see things you never noticed or an entirely new meaning in it? This podcast nails all of these as you reminisce down memory lane.

I’m a stay at home dad and this podcast allows me to believe I still get to hang out with friends. 😜 A nice mix of nostalgia and commentary that normally resides amongst a group of friends. Pairs nicely with repetitive tasks like cleaning grout.

I’ve only listened to two, but I can’t wait to listen to more! I like the combo of humor and nostalgia- makes me want to go back and watch some of my old favorites.
