The MELANIN RESET is a podcast to discuss current events, politics, religion/spirituality, and all the other stuff we need to talk about from the melanated perspective. The purpose of the Melanin Reset is to develop, grow, and nourish a mental attitude, disposition, and perspective that predetermines our perceptions, interpretations, and responses to situations involving African-Americans, the African-American experience in the United States of America, and the Africa Diaspora. It is about exploring the interrelationship between our African ethnicity, our American nationality, and the Black "race" label. It is about fully educating ourselves about our contributions to civilization, our contributions to the America, and our responsibilities as citizens in this American society. It is about fully embracing our TRUE identity, heritage, and culture.
