Charlemagne
While others languages are indeed spoken here which is fantastic, the United States DOES have an official language, it’s English, and you saying that it doesn’t garnered you 1/5 stars, a crappy review and me unfollowing your podcast, nice job 👍🏼

good!
Very informative, yet concise. The host has a great voice, and is well-spoken. My only gripe, actually, is that the playlist is a mess. Season 1 (Greece) is missing SO MANY EPISODES, and mislabeled Rome episodes are mixed in. (I hope the other seasons are organized better, they certainly have more episodes, and don’t appear to be missing any, i just hope they aren’t mislabeled, as I haven’t listened to them all yet). Also he randomly stops doing the show just a few episodes into season 4, which is a shame. Also also I don’t mind ads, but there’s a few minutes of ads randomly shoved into the middle of the episode without any warning, and usually in the middle of sentence. I HATE that. It is the worst possible structure for ads. Beginning and/or end is fine, in the middle is less fine but totally acceptable if placed properly. This is not that, unfortunately. HOWEVER, with that said, the podcast itself is lovely and great. Would be 5 stars if the ad issue was fixed and episode organization wasn’t a mess. Also more episodes!

Where is the rest of Charlemagne?
My kids were excited to hear more and there doesn't seem to be anything past Charlemagne's boyhood?

Overall these are great high level interesting pieces of history- we are enjoying them.

Occasionally bizarre reasoning
For instance, in one episode he argues that because the Romans executed only those members of minority religions who refused to recant their beliefs, they didn’t persecute members of minority religions.

A good high level history
I have enjoyed Kevin’s lectures on medieval France and the British isles, and hope that future episodes might discuss other areas of Europe during the period
