Mean Magazine founder Kristen Philipkoski and San Francisco media maven Lizzie Bermudez team up to discuss the realities of being 50 vis-a-vis JLO's Super Bowl performance. On the one hand, it was empowering and inspiring to see a 50-year-old woman (along with a 40-something woman) enthrall a stadium packed with football fans. On the other hand, when we look in the mirror, we can't help but notice some differences between us and JLO. Together it makes for some conflicted feelings. We discuss them all.
