The human race defined as Homo Sapiens, has allegedly been around for 200,000 years.
My question is this.
Why has technology leaped forward so much is less than 100 years, Did aliens really crash land at Roswell and are we reverse engineering their technology?…

I love a good story, a great one is even better…
Conspiracy theories have been around for such a long time that we often see them as a product of the 20th century, truth is, they have been around for much longer because the human race has a survival instinct that puts suspicion at the top of the defence list.
Our suspicion and opinion protect what we trust and all of that comes from information.
What if i suggested that the information you absorb for protection is not what you think?
What if the things you take for granted everyday aren’t what they seem?... listen on

Being honest and forthright is at the top of my ethos.
Lying to people is fundamentally wrong at all levels, it destroys respect, trust and loses loved ones and friends.
Over the years I have, and I have seen others lose what was important to them.
There are times that being honest fails to protect those around you, this episode will show how that happens and how it can escalate.

A change of direction after the last intense episode, due to me feeling that I need to get how I’m feeling out there.
The past 5 weeks have been pretty hard physically and mentally,
I’ve tried hard to stay with the planned episodes and have failed because this week I’ve decided to go back to the personal stuff.
so here we go.. listen on experience vs lesson learned time.

This is the second episode celebrating Black History Month.
Whilst its not designed to be a detailed history, it is designed to help you learn, question, evaluate and talk more..
Numbers have been around for as long as civilisation in one form or another.
Politicians use them, scientists use them, retailers use them, we all use them.
What if I told you that most furniture companies flout laws on their prices to give you a fear of missing out if you don’t buy now?
What if I told you that numbers and statistics are easy to manipulate to any message the presenter desires.
What if I told you that numbers presented in a false way or ignored can and have changed history?.......
listen on.

This episode is an early release as part of Black History month...
I have spoken previously about the difference between my experiences with my accent as an identifier as to who/what i am, these friends have skin colour as theirs.
When I first came across the term, I was quite shocked.
I hadn’t heard it previously and had no idea, at the time, what it would feel like, carrying such a burden every day.
To paraphrase a certain superhero ‘ with great knowledge comes great sorrow ‘.
Imposter syndrome is you being different to those around you and casting self doubt on what you achieved to be there.

Understanding ‘Creative Flow’ and how to level it up!
This one has a taken a lot of additional research which took longer than expected or scheduled for, it was supposed to go out a while ago.
It’s been a journey of intrigue and learning for me on making this episode, somethings you learn from experience, sometimes those separate experiences just come together in realisation.
Like pieces in very large puzzle.
I think you will appreciate why this one took longer and find value in it.
I’ll share additional reading resources I found useful later in this episode.........

I define knowledge as anything you have learnt and stored away…
……. I have realised that experience is a something completely different.
Experience can be your own ‘event’ or one you have experienced through someone else, whether that is reading, listening or watching.
So what’s the difference i hear you think.
The difference is emotion.

Hitting that the creative wall, it hurts.
You have so many great ideas in your head and sometime you can’t find the words to describe them, stories dry up and your fingers freeze over the keyboard.
Or….. you are in mid ‘flow’ something else comes up, you leave what you are doing and when you come back your screen laughs at you because that flow has been lost.....
