A Statement from Braulio:

"This piece was created in the summer of 2018 and I created it because I had a very real issue with how people have singled me out and mistreated me through my life, and that pain made me realize that this passion I have for creating films and other projects was to express these feelings and to accept myself for who I really am. Don’t let others determine how you feel about yourself. Find your true passions and put as much as you can into them.

This was originally planned to be a short film with the poem narrated at the end, and while the video I made from that footage is on YouTube, I couldn’t do it without Melissa Knutelski, who pushed me to speak my truth, to get it done, and go through with it."
