The Madness Method Podcast
The Madness Method Podcast
Juan de Dios and Cari Jo Garcia
Life is straight up madness. It’s a rollercoaster, filled with ups and downs. Some experiences are good and some bad. Each one is different from the next, but that’s what makes life unique to each of us. Little did we know, that a career in ballroom dancing, would guide us to understand the many methods to the madness within ourselves. The goal of The Madness Method Podcast is to share those same techniques to help you gain motivation and inspiration to build an amazing life and more.
The Spiral of Wisdom
There are so many things that life's activities teaches us. The coach teaches life from playing sports, the teacher teaches life from chemistry or math, the musician teaches life from playing one single note.  for me, life was similar to the games I played, the movies I watched, the way I see my dogs play with each other.  There is so much we can learn from life.  To count it would be endless. But one thing we do know, is that life will teach us lessons. And it's up to us to learn and gain wisdom from the biggest ones that come our way.  Today's lesson focuses on the concept of how wisdom is gained. Most think learning something si one and done. Like reading a book. You're never quite finished just reading it through one time. It's when you reread and reread where you start to find all the nuggets inside.  Wisdom happens when we see that lessons are learned in cycles and levels. We get deep into this subject and how we as the learner can understand it better and not try ot push it away.  Enjoy!

The Multiverse that contains everything we need to know
The Multiverse is a concept that has been around for centuries. Most recently brought back by the Marvel Universe with Dr. Strange and Spider Man. With the DC universe in The Flash. The concept is quite simple. There are multiple realities all happening at the same time. Within those realities there are different versions of you.  Now whether you believe this to be true or not, take a moment and think about the what if. What if there were multiple versions of you exisiting right now?  What if there were many versions of you that had every answer to every question you could ever ask? What would you ask? What would you want to know? In this episode we talk about this very idea and how we can access the knowledge from the better versions of ourselves that may possibly exist in another multiverse. All we need to do is just ask.  Check it out!

The LOVE the World needs right now
When a reporter once asked me what the world needs, I quickly answered LOVE. The world needs more love. I know now that it was probably the cheesiest thing that I could have said, but I believe it's true. The World needs LOVE. I think this might be one thing we can all agree on that. That and the fact that we could use more common sense.  I think people can agree on that too. But, what does that mean? How do I create that in my world? Would it even make a difference in this great big world we live in? In short, the real answer is yes and no?. YES, whatever you do will make a difference in the world.  Maybe moreso your immediate world.  And NO it won't make a difference in the world as a whole. This is what we talk about in today's episode of The Madness Method Podcast

The Chivalry that is Dead and Alive
Everybody says that chivalry is dead. If you look at the world, social media, the interactions we have everyday, you would think the same. It seems sociatey has lost its manners and is having a hard time finding its way back.  Wherever I look, I can't help but feel that the chivalry that made us kind is lost. But, I'm one person that believes it is not. Just as quick as we are to find the bad, there is so much good.  The good in humanity that lives under the rock.  Hidden in a way that can only be seen in the smallest of interactions. It's in our neighborhoods, it's in the good deeds done and the help that is offered. Chivalry is very much alive.  This is what we are going to focus on today.  But what do you think?  Is chivalry dead?

The One that says Yeah But...
Everyone of us has that one friend that desn't believe us. They are the skeptic.  The kryptonite to our Superman, the paper to our rock.  In their own sweet way, they simply have the other side of thought that usually is negative to us. This episode is for them. To the skeptic that doesn't believe, this is for you.  The realist in you sees one way of looking at the world and that typically is a point of view that could be negative at times.  And the person that sees thing positively can be seen as fake. But what if it wasn't? What if the other point of view isn't fake at all and just another point of view?  What if that point of view could possibly create a result that is more favorable to you?  A result that paints things differently?  Could that POV live in your world? This is what we'll be covering today in this episode.

Even the weeds get through the darkest crevices
I believe that we can find lessons from the most uncommon places. Case in point. I heard a quote the other day that talked about weeds.  After a deep dive, i learned so much about this little plant that relates so much to life.  Learning to be jsut as determined as this guy and to say yes when everything else in it's world says no. That's pretty amazing. If you're looking for your bit of inspiration today, the thing that keeps you moving one more step forward in the face of adversity, then you're gonna want to check out this episode.

The Expectation that doesn't define you
For as long as we could remember, we have had expectations.  Expectations we set ourselves and expectations that are set on us. And for just as long we have had a certain set of stressors as a result of those expectations. A certain set of identities that we have attached to the results of the expectations.  As if to say this is what you are. No more, no less. But what if those expectations weren't set? What if there was no expectation to worry about, to stress about? I would imagine the life lead from that thought could create something quite exciting.

The Perfection Model that isn't perfect
The word perfect often has the concept of something that is very difficult to attain.  Like finding a four leaf clover. But the bigger question is who created that concept? By who's definition are we basing the standard on? and What if I changed my idea of what perfect is? If I told you that you were perfect already, then you would be searching for something that is already with you. Like a pair of sunglasses on to of your head.  In today's episode we talk about these concpets and more and challenge the status quo of what it means to be perfect in our society.  Happy 50 Episodes!!

The Words that mean something and don't mean something
Arguably one of the biggest topics of 2022 aare the words we use. How we use and what they mean.  But what happens when one word means something to one persona and then completely something different to another? How do we manage the conundrum that is speech? In this episode, we focus on the first and only part that we can actually control. What we think and the response that we give when we hear any word. It's sure to get your brain thinking and challenge the status quo.
