Writing characters and dialogue are two of the hardest yet most fascinating tasks in fiction writing. They imply not only being able to capture and replicate the way human beings behave but also the essence of spoken language.

A call to an adventure. A challenge to take up. A conflict to solve. That is the spark that ignites a larger chain of events. And we call that chain of events happening in a story a plot.

Finding their voice can become the object of their obsession for many new writers. Honestly, I was scared when I first discovered that there was this thing so-called writer’s voice and I didn’t know whether I had it or not.
