I was in a mood and a half whilst recording this episode, which initially sucked because who likes recording a podcast in a bad mood? It eventually turned out to be a good thing because ya girl got to vent and release some anger! Anger about $60 memberships for ADHD “habit trackers,” excusing misogyny with neurodiversity, and something I learned about not being able to work in a specific area if medicated for ADHD. The disappointment! Other topics covered include mental illness, ADHD stigma, neurodivergence, social media, and more!Want to see and hear more of me and the pod?📷Follow The Lucie Pod on Instagram: @theluciepod🧵Follow The Lucie Pod on Threads: @theluciepod👍Follow The Lucie Pod on Facebook: @TheLuciePod💜Get in touch with The Lucie Pod Here!CREDITS🎙️Creator, Producer & Host: Lucie👨🏻💻Editor: Trent Tucker🎥Trent's YouTube Channel

AI has existed for a long time; it is not a new thing. However, I feel as though in the last year it's become a huge thing! A lot of people are using it and talking about it in the mainstream. Some people despise it, cursing it for its environmental impact and the stupid robotic outputs it gives them, and some are in love! They use it at work, at home, and could not imagine their life without it. Some sit in the middle. And yet, I have not seen anyone look at and discuss what it can do for neurodiversity and disability. I mean, there are already examples of it being used in assistive communication technology and being used to research ADHD trends in academia.... what's next? Should something be next?Well, in today's episode I talk about the next, the future of AI in ADHD: what it can do, can't do, and if it should do!Want to see and hear more of me and the pod?📷Follow The Lucie Pod on Instagram: @theluciepod🧵Follow The Lucie Pod on Threads: @theluciepod👍Follow The Lucie Pod on Facebook: @TheLuciePod💜Get in touch with The Lucie Pod Here!READING LISTWang X, Jia Q, Liang L, Zhou W, Yang W, Mu J. In this episode, I chat with Robert Simms, Clinical Director and Social Worker at Embodied Resilience—a neurodivergent-led practice supporting AuDHDers with a focus indigenous perspectives and issues. Robert was late diagnosed with ADHD and realised that was only part of the story. As he explored his neurodivergence further, he came to understand that he was also autistic. Now, he supports others who are making similar discoveries about themselves. We talk about a bit of everything—fantasy books that hit a little too close to home, the messiness of self-diagnosis, the subtle lies neurotypicals tell, masking, running a practice while navigating life and autism, and the weird, messy and sometimes chaotic fun that comes with it all.Want to see and hear more of me and the pod?📷Follow The Lucie Pod on Instagram: @theluciepod🧵Follow The Lucie Pod on Threads: @theluciepod👍Follow The Lucie Pod on Facebook: @TheLuciePod💜Get in touch with The Lucie Pod Here!Connect with and learn more about Robert:📷Rob's Instagram: embodiedresiliencewellness💻Rob's Website: Embodied Resilience CounsellingCREDITS🎙️Creator, Producer & Host: Lucie👨🏻💻Editor: Trent Tucker🎥Trent's YouTube Channel

In this episode, I chat with Kate Paulin, an autistic and ADHD depth coach who supports fellow neurodivergents in exploring how their brain works, embracing their full, messy, authentic selves, and building strategies that actually make sense for their needs and goals 🌀🧠💫Kate, who’s AuDHD herself, brings a beautiful depth (pun intended) to coaching—especially when it comes to meeting people exactly where they're at. We talked about late diagnosis, the legitimacy of self-diagnosis (yep, it's real), and the power of being an AuDHD coach supporting other AuDHDers. 🔁✨We also got delightfully philosophical—diving into the emotional and messy soup we all swim in. Think: the role of emotions, what it means to feel without being consumed, and why anger (even when it’s sticky and icky) absolutely deserves a seat at the messy ADHD table 😤🍽️Want to see and hear more of me and the pod?📷Follow The Lucie Pod on Instagram: @theluciepod🧵Follow The Lucie Pod on Threads: @theluciepod👍Follow The Lucie Pod on Facebook: @TheLuciePod💜Get in touch with The Lucie Pod Here!Connect with and learn more about Kate:📷Kate's Instagram: @followthedopamine.life💻Kendra's Website: Follow The Dopamine Holistic CoachingCREDITS🎙️Creator, Producer & Host: Lucie👨🏻💻Editor: Trent Tucker🎥Trent's YouTube Channel

In this episode, I sit down with Kendra Koch, founder of Divergently—what I like to call an online ADHD rec centre! 🧠✨ It's a supportive community created by and for late-diagnosed neurodivergent women, offering a welcoming space to make sense of your diagnosis, tackle overwhelm, and navigate life with more ease ❤️🩹.Kendra, also an ex-Silicon Valley marketer (how iconic is that?!), shared her journey of being diagnosed with ADHD while pregnant. We also discussed the online ADHD discourse, therapy and wellness speak, burnout, windows of tolerance, and yes, the infamous "everyone is on the spectrum" conversation. 🤯On top of that, I learned about Internal Family Systems therapy—who knew you could heal your inner ADHD child(ren)?! 👶Want to see and hear more of me and the pod?📷Follow The Lucie Pod on Instagram: @theluciepod🧵Follow The Lucie Pod on Threads: @theluciepod👍Follow The Lucie Pod on Facebook: @TheLuciePod💜Get in touch with The Lucie Pod Here!Connect with and learn more about Kendra:📷Toya’s Instagram: @joindivergently 💻Kendra's Website: Divergently | Support Network for Late-Diagnosed Neurodivergent WomenCREDITS🎙️Creator, Producer & Host: Lucie👨🏻💻Editor: Trent Tucker🎥Trent's YouTube Channel
