THE TITLE IS ALARMING THE EPISODE IS NOT!

Joining The Lingo this week are past guests and fellow creatives, Johnny Champagne and Malik English. Once again a descriptive episode, putting the public on to some recent artist run and led events that some or all of us went to.

Kicking off with ATM's birthday gallery, we go on a deeper dive as to what the event meant for ATM as both a planner and performer; also tapping Johnny and Malik for their input on what performing in that space looked like and felt like for them.

Continuing with the week, O drops insight on a recent event the attending hosted by DickByAir titled "No Negativity." Hosted at The Knitting Factory, the event put a lot of artists on O's radar, introducing new styles, sounds, and artists that this amazing city has to offer.

Thanks to a network O made at that event, it led the duo to attend an underground rap show in Ridgewood later that week. Much can be said but we'll leave it at, characters can really make an event and/or function worth remembering.

We wrap up the event reviews with DJ Champagne's first set over at Pink's Cantina and what that experience encompassed for him as the sole DJ of the night. This entire segment gives one of the best gems from the episode for sure: "Collaboration Is Key."

Johnny Champagne ends us off with more to want as we discuss his upcoming project, Yankee Of The South, and everything that went and is going into the compilation of that project. Needless to say, we can't wait to hear it!
