What a kick off… your favorite duo link up with NYC native (he moved from the city to Maryland and back to the city) Siyaka; a photographer, rapper, engineer, and so much more. This man is an enigma as he stands and this episode just proves it.

We kick off our episode talking about how he started getting into producing music and how that craft metastasized so quickly for him and became an overall passion for music, shoutout Fruity Loops. We also talk about his musical influences as home and listening to so much variety and how that inspired him.

We go into a lot of back and forth about authenticity (which is the key word for this episode) and how gate kept hip-hop is; and how some of that shit is really ruled by ego. Niggas don’t want No Sucker MCs. People’s idea of what’s hot and what’s not or what hip-hop is or is not is super skewed and subjective. Our hip-hop convo takes up an immense bulk of the episode and true word, capitalism is the root of all evil and hip-hop is only a small pawn in that system.

We speak about his project Insomniac and how that came to be, the details of the songs and the overall creation of this project as a whole. It's worth a listen and then a double take to catch all the bars and messages; definitely a huge self-reflective episode.

We also get personal and transparent as Siyaka puts us on to a recent mental diagnosis he received and how that impacts his thought processes in regards to his relationship with himself and with his music. It's the hand we were dealt and his transparency is solely to help y'all make more sense of the man as a man and as an artist.

We wrap up on a large tangent on collaborations and how stingy and stush some creatives can be and while some of it is warranted, some of it is just bozo shit.

Last but not least, its Lingo Talk with The Lingo and our man comes with one of ATM's personal favorites, "Off G.P." and a couple other NY classics.
