Currently in her PsyD program, as part of her clinical practicum requirements, she is conducting individual and group therapy with the adult SMI (serious mental illness) population. In Catherineโs free time she enjoys relieving stress through spending quality time with friends and family, cooking, and nail-painting. Her ultimate goal in life is to open up her own private practice that mostly caters to ethnic minorities in underserved communities in hope to help break down mental health stigma and other barriers to mental health care. She also strives to be a role model for young women and leave a mark on this world, just as her late mother did and was to her.
If you or someone you know is struggling with a crisis or thoughts our suicide please call the crisis number 18002738255 or text 741741.
