Wonderful voice acting and top tier story telling by an amazing group. I’ve been listening for years and enjoying every episode (many more than once). Law and Zach do incredible jobs as game masters, helping the players weave deep and complex narratives through their layered and multifaceted worlds. Silly or serious, grim or happy go lucky, there’s something in each season for everyone to enjoy and the fake commercials are good enough to listen to on their own (very funny). Like any great show, give it a few episodes to hit its stride and you’ll never want to stop listening.

This has been one of my top podcasts I follow for over 2 years now. Great characters, creative and funny campaigns, a must listen.

The first season is fantastic, highly recommend, some of the best content I’ve heard, but the 2nd season is just kinda meh 😑 all of the fun and exciting energy from season 1 seems to have disappeared…it feels like season 2 is a completely different show, so I stopped listening.

LUQ is a hidden gem amongst TTRPG podcasts, and it’s only issue is that it is not as well known yet. (Seriously get listening in on this!) LUQ is the perfect balance of beautiful and dynamic world building with amazing game masters, players that build and play unique and funny and fully fleshed out three dimensional characters, within an episode that isn’t super long. There is a story within a story in the intro and exit, the ads are the perfect play of tongue and cheek to nerd culture, and an overall balance within the game of drama, comedy, and story that will keep you guessing. The creators are amazing, talented, and humble and are active within their fan communities. If you are looking for the next podcast binge, look no further than the League of Ultimate Questing.

I found the League of Ultimate Questing through an ad while relistening to The Magnus Archive and OH MY GOD. I have never been much for watching or listening to sports, but the way that this cast bring comedy to a sportless “sport” such as Dungeons and Dragons. The story, the world building, the commentators, and holy hells, the AD’s!!! I have been bingeing the LUQ since and have no regrets at all!!

Every time I get the car with my friends, I lock all the door and force them to listen to The LQU. They seem to enjoy it, they laugh, one like the idea to roll to fall in love, the other likes when Corbin thinks he’s a bird cuz sometimes my friend thinks they’re a bird too. Unfortunately they only listen when they’re with me, only on the account that imaginary friends cant physically do things on their own.

SO SO SO GOOD! give it a listen! Excellent story telling and humor. Have been listening for a year now <3

Season one was incredible. This is nothing against Zach, but I can’t handle how dark and gory this podcast has gotten. This used to be a break from the darkness of the world, but now it just brings me down even more. Season two was a flop.

Been binge listening to this podcast after searching for something new to listen to and I have not been disappointed. Very funny interactions with the cast epic battles and great fake ads. By far the best DND podcast.

I’ve just made it to there 100th episode and I am loving every minute of it. If you like Dnd , adventure, and comedy put this in your ears.

I’ve listened to several DnD podcasts and this is by far my favorite. The group dynamic is amazing, Law is an amazing DM and the world is fantastic. I’m on episode 66 after 2 weeks of listening, and not one of my friends hasn’t heard about it.

Honestly one of the best DND podcasts out there. It is a perfect balance of goofy and crunchy. The cast does an expert job of keeping the perfect balance between Critical Roll and Dungeons and Daddies. The most fun I have had listening to a DND podcast while it still feeling like a true DND experience.

Started listening for the fake ads, and I love them, and 30-something episodes in I find myself just captured by the story. The chemistry of the cast is great. This has easily become perhaps my most favorite actual play D&D podcast. Thanks so much LUQ!

This crew likes to think they’re sofa king hilarious, and they are. Season two is off to a good start and is ramping up the world and character development! So excited to see how this oddball cast melts and merges into this new adventure.

I have listened to many actual play podcasts, some big-name shows and some lesser-known shows. This one is up there with the best. The editing is solid and he role-play is good. The show has a unique style that took a episode or two to get used to, but as of the players settled in it has become my favorite role-play podcast that I listen to. My only critique is they need to do a better job of soliciting reviews during their show updates and make the Patreon easier to find.

The group is great, and Law is an awesome DM. I wish my DND groups were like this. Love everyone, every character is unique and amazing in their own way. Keep doing what you do, you’re doing an amazing job.

100% my favorite D&D podcast by far. Easier for me to get into than even CR.

I’m a tentative podcast listener, and I was hesitant to start a new one, but I am so glad that I did!! TLoUQ is a super fun and engaging listen, and I’ll for sure be here waiting for more!

I’m not sure why this podcast doesn’t get more love. The audio quality, funny DM and characters, along with the hilarious fake ads make this pod more enjoyable than many others of its type.

This podcast is so funny and entertaining. It’s perfect for new comers to DnD who want to get a feel for how the game functions and flows. Even if you have no interest in the game, you will have a good time listening to these cats screw around. It really puts you in the mood to gather your friends, dig out the dice, and play.

Plots that captivate, Dice rolls and puns aplenty Dishy voices, too. ... all that, AND there’s a dog on the team. C’mon, folks, this D&D podcast has it all going on!

Im only 10 episodes in but this is my favorite d&d podcast right now! The game setting with its high fantasy tournament/game show/reality TV vibe is incredibly fun and creative and it’s very enjoyable to go on this adventure through this world with the players. The fake in-world ads also frequently make me laugh out loud while I’m at my work desk. 5 out of 5 for me!

So just discovered this podcast. The crew is charming and hilarious. The characters are well thought out and expertly narrated. I feel like I’m in the quest with them and and have enjoyed the four or five episodes I’ve listened to so far. Super looking forward to everything to come. And if you need a fun RPG to listen to this is it.

I've played D&D since 1979 and can honestly say that this podcast's DM is as talented and skilled as any you'll ever experience. This is a rollicking campaign with a hilarious premise, and you'll become a better DM (or player) just by listening to how this game is described and run by the DM.

When you put creativity, imagination and skill together in a podcast format, anything is possible. LUQ takes these attributes and applies them flawlessly to the wonderful world of Dungeons & Dragons. The GM and one of the producers, Law, does an excellent job of creating a full and immersive world for the listener follow along with, while at the same time treating the subject and rules of the game gently enough for a rookie D&D fan to enjoy every minute.

This has become one of my favorites!
