There's Only One You!
Self-care is defined as "the practice of taking action to preserve or improve one's own health." As mothers...and parents in general...we tend to shy away from self care and focus on the care of our children and family. We put everyone ahead of us, but we forget you can't pour from an empty cup. Today I speak with licensed Mental Health Counselor Elli Assiobo-Tipoh on the topic of Self Care, it's importance and NOT feeling guilty about taking care of yourself! What are some things you do for self care? You can find Elli on Instagram at: https://www.instagram.com/elliat_counseling_pllc/ or on her website: https://www.ellitcounseling.com/ Please reach out to Elli for more information regarding self-care or if you are in need of counseling services.
