There is plenty news about first responders, doctors, nurses, fireman and EMTs but what about the last responder, the Funeral Director. They too are faced with overwhelming bodies due to the coronavirus and the lack of adequate facilities to hold the dead. There is the unknown in terms of being infected from a deceased who has died from Covid 19. Coronavirus has even changed the traditional funeral to the new one where there can be no more 10 people present. Many funeral establishments are only doing graveside services, no viewing in fear of the invisible enemy of coronavirus. Funeral homes were not designed to manage an overwhelmed hospital system that results in an overwhelmed funeral industry.
