The Laser Age is a fun listen for those who grew up or currently enjoy late 20th century SF movies. Not every film discussed is a masterpiece, but that hardly matters. The discussions are lively, insightful, and may have you looking for (or avoiding) new movies to watch.

Keith Philips, who’s work I initially became aware of through the Next Picture Show and The Reveal consistently offers smart, insightful criticism and analysis in all of his projects. This show applies his skills to fun Sci-fi schlock, two great things brought together. His guest hosts are similarly intelligent and interesting. My only criticism is that I wish the discussions were longer. I enjoy the in depth conversation of the NPS and wish this was longer. This show is a welcome addition to my “must listen” list and I anticipate the next episode.
