The LA Way
The LA Way
Lauren Ashlee
The LA Way is all about doing things my way. The Lauren Ashlee way, which is being honest, vulnerable, fun, and care free! Each episode will focus on different topics that I enjoy such as music, relationships, lessons learned, self-love, and family.
"Just come to the table"
As I have grown into adulthood I’ve realized that it’s okay to express yourself and your feelings. Through conversations with friends I’ve noticed we have similar situations in regards to relationships with parents, friends, family etc where being vulnerable was seen as negative. The COVID pandemic and the fight for social justice impacted me a lot just like others. So in this episode I speak to a mental health practitioner about mental health in the black community, passion for their work, my discovery of what my trauma looks like and how therapy can help you through.
