Welcome to the first episode of the newest addition to the Knoyse Channel - Ignorant Intellectual, where we get to pick the brains of people in specific career fields and find out what makes them tick and inspired to do the things they do!
This is the very first episode, better known as a "Pilot" with artist and designer Mikey Imperial, based out of Los Angeles, CA. Mikey currently has his own line of streetwear and art, inspired by a versatile fusion of both street and fine arts, bringing a balanced medium between the two. Mikey is also working on releasing his very own line of Vinyl Designer toys, featuring his original character Dope (featured in the thumbnail of this episode).
You can check out more of Mikey's works on social media via his Facebook page or Instagram, or visit his website posted above.
Mikey is an old friend from the music scene, and very much a big brother to me (Devin) which brought about a very casual natured conversation, reminiscing about the various music scenes in Florida and how he rotated between cities until finally finding his ground in LA.
Enjoy this chat with Mikey Imperial!

Welcome back after an elongated break (much needed) to a BRAND NEW EPISODE! This week - Avatar, the 2nd top grossing movie of all time, and one of James Cameron's best graphical works gets a light shined onto it in our episode. The similarities between this and other movies aside (*cough cough* POCAHONTAS AND FERNGULLY), this movie dazzled cinemagoers everywhere until it crossed a threshold of $2 Billion worldwide.
Also during Review the Review, a Rob Lowe conspiracy is uncovered, and there might be a plot developing for further episodes...to be determined.
Thank you so much for tuning in, we're glad to be back, and we hope you enjoy this episode with the least amount of censors possible (be proud of Devin, he did a great job avoiding f-bombs).

Why is it that every time Devin's on a roll, John pulls a weird 90's movie out to completely confuse him? In simple terms, it's because it's easy to confuse Devin on these matters. Join us for another episode when we explore a 90's classic starring The Terminator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger, in "Kindergarten Cop." We also mention a few listeners we never expected in that we're now having an INTERNATIONAL range! To any and all of our listeners outside of the states, thank you so much for tuning in! Check us out now on our Facebook page as well as Instagram, and enjoy this week's episode of Vague Cinematic Review!

Welcome to a new year and the same crisis we're still a part of! This episode was recorded back in November, a little after the USA Presidential election, but it was not mixed before the New Year due to personal/professional happenings, so we're bring it to you now as the first episode in Season 2 and the start of a new year - 2021 (a.k.a. The Revenge).
This week, John decided to pick a film that some of our listeners have no recollection of nor does it fit in the criteria of classic films, probably as revenge since he doesn't like when Devin guesses things correctly. Enjoy his take on the 90's Disney hit Air Bud while listening to Devin suffer!

What do you do when you get a political activist on your show who's also a musician the week after a national election and air it two days after a national embarrassment? You get...perfect timing. Terrain is a singer/songwriter based out of Maryland, who recently released his latest album "Knowing", which is available now on Bandcamp for purchase and streaming services for listening. Note: This episode focused heavily on politics, so be advised that if it's not for you, skip it. Otherwise, enjoy this interview with Terrain!

Welcome to a very special Vague Cinematic Review, where John ends the year tormenting Devin by continuing to torment Devin. This week, John gives his vague review of the classic A Christmas Carol. Will Devin be able to figure it out in time for Christmas morning? Will he get the biggest roast in town? WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO TINY TIM???
On this week's segment of Review the Review, John presents Devin with arguably the best Christmas movie of all time and ONE OF THE WORST MOVIES EVER MADE to choose from. If you're sensitive to language, there is a reason it's censored on this show.
Finally, we cover some of the best and worst Christmas movies ever made (when we say worst, it's John's usual snark and Devin's optimism...anyone surprised? Didn't think so.)
Thank you everyone for a fun 2020, and we look forward to seeing you in the new year!

Hello Clarice. You look good...good enough to be the subject line of this week's episode! We're back, post-election blues out of the way, and ready to roll with another episode. Will Devin use his vast knowledge of cannibalistic serial killers and get it RIGHT for a change, or will he be doomed to the pit, forever applying lotion to the skin? Stay tuned and find out!

I'm the king of the world...or at least, Devin would be if he guesses this week's film correctly. Does Titanic stand the test of time against the horror tropes presented throughout the film, or does it sink to the bottom of the ocean like James Cameron's pockets after this film's release? Tune in and find out!

Finally! We get to put John through pure and absolute hell by making him watch Kazaam! How did John absorb the film? Did he find light at the end of the tunnel, or was it an absolute nightmare in a genie outfit? Find out in this bonus episode of Vague Cinematic Review!

You would think that during the month of horror, Devin would be able to guess one of his all-time favorite horror films that John describes to him, right?...Right?
Tune in and find out whether or not he succeeds!
