In the first episode of Karen England’s latest project, a podcast named Kitchen Table Activist, Karen shares her own experience of getting involved in the public square. As a young mom, she decided to start at the local school board, where she discovered a board member was being accused of ruining the district for wanting to include abstinence in the district’s sex education.  Encouraged by a friend and prayer warrior, Karen knew it was time to allow the Lord to use her and her giftings. Standing up for stay-at home moms on a radio show and participating in citizen lobby days was just the beginning of Karen’s career in fighting for the family.  Kitchen Table Activist is a dream to educate and equip parents, family members, and any concerned citizen to take a stand.
