This short address pre-commemorates a special event for dreamers and Sci-fi officionados alike as your host says a few words on the greater importance of one of Sci-fi's most indelible franchises.

This is the first episode of Season 3. Things have fallen behind of late, but this episode starts a new format and contains some announcements for future plans. It still has the recurring Kilts and Cosplay segment as well as a special introduction. The topic to be discussed in this one makes it the much requested Batman episode. And boy we did our diligence when talking about the various live action Batman adaptaions. Don't worry though. We recorded this episode before "The Batman" hit theaters. So it is guaranteed spoiler free.

This is a particularly self indulgent episode where the host gives a spoiler peppered and opinionated review of Masters of the Universe: Revelations. But it is still capped off with the familiar segments for the solo episodes; Kilts and Cosplay, and Geek History.

This episode was intended to cover the subject of women's representation in geek culture and fandom. It's a huge topic that involves far more discussion than any one episode can cover. Therefore this is labeled as part one and there will be more discussion of it in the future. Of course there are the expected segments of Kilts and Cosplay and The Character Spotlight.

This special episode marks the one year point from the first episode. The listener selected topic is my thoughts on the upcoming Amazon Lord of the Rings series. And that discussion is framed by the Kilts and Cosplay segment that touches on kilts in the workplace and cosplay mash-ups. In conclusion we have a reading from one of Tolkien's lesser known works.

This is an episode with the usual bells and whistles. We talk about the various types of plaids worn ith kilts and some thoughta about filters and "shopping" your cosplay photos. The Character Spotlight shines on Abe Sapien from the Hellboy franchise and this all frames some thoughts about Sci-Fi's greatest debate; Star Trek or Star Wars

This episode includes some practical summertime kilt advice to keep you from hurting, a bit about convention behavior and a nerd's view on social obligation as presented in popular culture. It's finished off with a segment on Cecil B. DeMille's contribution to cinema and why that's important to geeks like himself.

In this episode which more than makes up for the super-short Steampunk episode, we have a lengthy segment about kilts at funerals. That is followed up with some words on diffusing lightsaber blades for cosplay. The discussion time has me joined with the hosts of "We Frelling Love It: A Journey Through the Niche and Nerdy" as we discuss pop-cultural heroes and how they've inspired us. The character Spotlight in this episode is none other than my favorite Galactic Bounty Hunter; Samus Aran.

This rather short episode doesn't skimp on the usual segments which cover kilted fire and firework safety and LARP costuming. After which a there is a short topic discussion about Fan Fiction. Then, we're off to the moon.

In this episode we get the usual Kilts and Cosplay segement with the topic being Highland headwear and prop firearms. It is followed up by a discussion with a very special guest, the host's wife, Jessica Hunt. They share a few memories and some advice for geeks who are either in love or seeking it out. The episode is finished up with the Character Spotlight which is shining on Green Lantern Simon Baz.
