So refreshing to hear POSITIVE CONVERSATION. These two have a real chemistry that is really fun to listen to, and their honesty and openness is a breath of fresh air.

I wake up every Friday morning like a kid on Christmas knowing that the Juice will soon be streaming sweet nothings in my cochleas. Savannah and Trent have such boisterous banter and shed a different perspective on the inner happenings surrounding the pop culture atmosphere. Like most things to come post-2020, this podcast is truly unprecedented.

I found this podcast because I knew Savannah from Instagram through her amazingly concise reels on complex theological topics. I had no idea what this podcast would be about but I listened to it because of her and was not disappointed. Her and Trent truly have such a fun brother/sister dynamic and can make talking about anything funny and interesting. Since the podcast is primarily focused on pop culture, a lot of the conversation is light hearted and funny, but they also talk about really deep things sometimes. I enjoy their perspective because they never claim to be experts, it really just feels like I’m overhearing a conversation of two friends talking at a coffee shop. A great podcast about a wide variety of things, mainly pop culture with two fantastic and engaging hosts!

So far, I have really enjoyed this podcast. The conversation is fun and interesting. However, I was not a huge fan of how they dealt with the Joss Whedon situation only because they discuss his past achievements/shows without knowing/understanding them. We can all agree that Whedon has done/is doing horrible things and treated people terribly while still maintaining that some of the work he has done deserves the acclaim it got. Art does not have to lose its meaning because the creator isn’t a good person, and I don’t think they offered that opinion. It seemed like because we now know he isn’t a good person that we have to hate all that he has done. You point out near the end of the Joss Whedon section that you wish women were portrayed as the chosen one. The one who is born with a gift. If you had taken the time to look at Whedon’s past shows, you’d know that Buffy is a chosen one and he created her as a way to show that an unassuming woman can fight danger and monsters instead of running away from them like most shows portrayed at the time. If you are going to discuss someone and their work, you need to give it all a fair assessment.

I really like the dynamic of these two, they talk so easily and freely about a whole range of subjects. This podcast is engaging, relevant and has some interesting perspectives about what’s happening now and how that sometimes intersects with working at a church. I’m loving all the Juice content!

Listen y'all...this is litty lit. I’ve never had such fun listening to people talk. These two do not shy from sharing thoughts on a multitude of difficult topics. The communication level and chemistry between this duo is on point. You’ll feel like you personally know them. The only negative comment I have is I wish we had more eps during the week. Twice a week?!

This podcast is super dope! The hosts are fun and engaging. You feel like you’re sitting with them during the conversation. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been lazy getting into the hype of podcasts, but I absolutely love Trent and Savannah’s dynamic and their realist approach to talking about pop culture.
