Racism is a system. Declaring racism as a public health crisis matters. It’s the first step to advancing diversity, racial equality, and racial justice. Being a part of and witnessing George Floyd's “I Can’t Breathe Movement” has shown many Americans how monumental solidarity can be in the face of racism.
