She also works with Operation Surprise Attack, a non-profit organization that helps Children and Youth with special needs. Her story is quite inspiring. It's episode 45 the Jim Snyder Podcast. I am joined by Parker Inks. Parker was born with congenital Muscular Dystrophy, but it has not slowed him down. Parker holds a bachelor degree in Liberal Arts from Bowling Green State University and has gone on to found Parker's Purpose. This is a non-profit organization that raises money to help individuals with disabilities with their medical costs. At the end of the podcast as always I will have another really bad pun.

It's the 44th episode and I had the pleasure to sit down and chat with a long time friend, author and broadcaster Kim Carson. If the name sounds familiar, you might have heard her on the air in such places as Detroit, Grand Rqapids and Toledo just to name a few. Kim is also an author of a book of poetry, Essence of Life: A Compilation Of Inspiration, Story And Poetry. We spent some time talking about her start in radio and of course what she is up to today. Back at the beginning of season 2 I chatted with Emily Trepanier (tray-PAN-yay). You may recall that Emily is visually impaired, and is also an Educational Assistant with the Vancouver School Board. On top of her career in education, Emily is also a competitive blind snowboarder and has dreams of competing in the Paralympics one day.
