In episode 8, or rather episode 1 of season 2, Jen chats with Jade Phoenix, the transfemale, half phillipino founder of the Zodiacbar in London. We talk gender and ientity in the Phillipines , spam with eggs, and pingpong playing in Regent's Park. We discuss identity vs. sexuality, Soho karaoke bars, special Lugaw in Manila and how there is no difference between "he" and "she" in Tagalog.

On a week of endings Jen talks with Aidan, who is half Indian and identifes as non-binary-femme. We talk living in non-binary-country and “ degenerate fox”, which is the theatre company they play at and their play “the dirty thirty” . We discuss what it’s like working for a west-end theatre and how life in itself seems on a spectrum, how non of us is an expert when it comes to gender and how non-binary identity isn’t defined by falling short of something. There is talks of tiny denim dresses and playsuits,of lipstick and hair dye.

In episode 6 Jen talks with Ivy, who lives in Melbourne and identifies as trans-femme non-binary, we talk about how watching Tranny academy helped her through confusion when she was at Uni, and how she’s recently turned to non drinking and veganism. We ponder on Eurovision, prostate, dairyfree mac and cheese and the freeing and comfortable feeling, which femininity gives to her. We dive into “Strippers in Slippers” and our different experiences of wearing lipstick.

Episode 5 embraces life. Jen talks with Adele, a well known DJ, who goes by the name of Blonde Spirit; she has played at Stunners, Papa Loko, Transister and has her own stream on youtube. Adele is intersex and identifies transfemale. We talk relationships and painful past, we talk dissociation and possible positive outcomes of the pandemic. Her feelgood food is salty mashed up eggs on very buttered toast, and it pisses her off when people say gender is a social construct. To Adele femaleness feels like heaven and embracing it shamelessly has enriched her life irreversibly. We talk cultural appropriation, carpets, female dragqueens and queer history.

In episode 4 Jen talks with work colleague and Tiktok celebrity Blake ( lowqualityblake). We speak about the difficulties of being trans-masc but still enjoying makeup and dresses, exchange stories of pub food, twerking on the fryer and banter in London pubs. Blake shares his love for Linguine in white wine garlic sauce with prawns ( recipe on outbutin.org) and considers gender a system he feels he doesn’t ascribe to. We discuss the difference in cis-gender and gender-non-conforming identity and wonder what it feels like to be the other, we talk underwear, e-boy style and the struggle of trying or not trying to pass and the notion that non-binary expression in clothes really has no rules.

In Episode 3 of the Jender podcast Jen speaks with Nicky (who is well known in the London queer rave scene)about Transister, clubbing in ones own bedroom, what it feels like to be a woman and loving apple pie. There is talk about bearded ladies, pink lycra and legs and Kate James-Moore reads her fresh romantic poetry.

In Episode 2 Jen speaks with friend and fellow radical Faerie Ravi about masculinity and how beautiful a thing it is, about Pasta Pesto, corduroy and Caprice Wintour recites her poetry.

Today's guest of this first ever Episode is Sophie in North London, who is a long term collaborator/ model for Baal and friend with strong views on gender as a social construct Spaghetti Bolognese.
