Episode 1: This week in the pub author K.M. Alexander and I discuss what it takes to adapt a mythos into our own writing including some of its joys and pitfalls, how it compares and connects with fan fiction, and to what extent fans of a mythos influence what you write.

Our Drink for this episode is The Pallid Mask, a strong, herbaceous custom cocktail with Mezcal as it’s base and Chartreuse just exploding everywhere. It’s both a kick in the mouth and a smooth sipper.
The Pallid Mask
2oz Mezcal (Mezcal Union Uno is perfect for this.)
1oz Dry Vermouth
1oz Chartreuse (Green is best)
Stir with ice until well chilled and strain into your favorite cocktail glass. Twist a sprig of rosemary over the top and drop it in.
