The Imaginal Podcast
The Imaginal Podcast
Lori "Sas" Sase
It's never too late to become who you imagined you'd be. The Imaginal Podcast is for anyone who feels called to a freer, more creative, more expressed life. We are often creatives and empaths (with a special invitation for would-like-to-be creatives) - people who are generally self-aware yet also have areas of their life that they still want to express whether that's creatively, professionally, relationally or contributorily. It is a place where we have real and tender conversations about how to understand and actualize your uniqueness. Laughter, vulnerability, bravery, resilience, compassion and healing are all prioritized here. We break the fourth wall of being human and sort through the obstacles that might be preventing you from expressing your creativity, utilizing your voice and value, enjoying your life to the fullest, and being true to yourself. It is led by Lori "Sas" Sase (she/her); life coach and a student of life. Though not fully realized herself yet, she has realized how much freedom, confidence, meaning, and connection the process of self-realization facilitates. Like the caterpillar who carries its butterfly-blueprint-containing imaginal cells to the chrysalis, where it melts into goo before it can transform, you too have an inner knowing that can tell you how to make your wings. And it's been within you all along. Sas's hope is that The Imaginal Podcast will help you learn how to listen to your own internal imaginal cells that are just waiting to be trusted and manifested. And then discover how you can live, love and contribute in even more meaningful ways. **Music by: KonovalovMusic

59: The Importance of Hearing Your Own Voice
In recent episodes, we've been posing some existential questions. We've also asked you to ponder how you might live your life in ways that are even more in alignment with the things that matter to you. However, amidst busy schedules and a constant access to information (as wonderful as that can be), it may be difficult to hear the stillness of your own opinions and needs. Today, we talk about the importance of really listening to yourself - to deeply know what you think and feel. We can accidentally pass over our own inner knowing.  We discuss some simple ways to allow your inner intelligence to reveal itself. 58: Why Are You So Hard On Yourself Part 2 with Guest Co-Host Raphaela Browne
Today we focus in on the voices that can run through our heads - whether they are critical, self-doubting, accusatory, or maybe one comment that was spoken to you long ago. This kind of "self-talk" can take up residence and can keep you from doing things you love or being who you truly are. Sometimes these voices have been riding along for so long that you don't even question their validity. But are these voices even true? Today we talk about the origin of this kind of self-talk, how to question the truth of this internal dialogue, and begin the devotional process of detangling them from your life. Raphaela Browne is back to co-host today. She drops the gems, per usual. We so appreciate you joining this conversation.Ways to connect with Raphaela Browne (she/her):LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/raphaelabrowneWebsite: https://raphaelabrowne.com/Email: [email protected]: @raphaelabrowneWays to connect with Sas (she/her):Instagram: @lori_saseSign up for her newsletter or find out about coaching: https://www.lorisase.comEmail: [email protected]

57: Why Are You So Hard On Yourself? Part 1 with Guest Co-Host Raphaela Browne
Why are you so hard on yourself? I ask that kindly, but does that resonate for you? Do you ever find that your routines feel exhausting or are a little bleaker than what you'd imagine for your life? This is a two-part conversation, and today we focus on when you are compelled to "go at things hard" - not "hard" in a great or healthy way but rather when it depletes you or causes an imbalance in your life. We feel that it's important to parse out, because there may be something deeper at the root that can ride along unnoticed or may be hard to discern. The very wonderful Raphaela Browne is back to co-host. Together we discuss the layers and the facets along with how to bring ourselves more into alignment with what we value in life. 53: When You Feel Like Quitting Part 1 with Guest Co-Host Alison M. Scott
What do you do when you want to quit? Today, Alison Scott and I reflect, laugh and strategize on this interesting topic. Wanting to quit is a very relatable feeling in the midst of a pursuit or project. If we're not careful though, it can be very isolating, and it might start to garner more power and wrongful messaging than it should.Today we talk about how to listen to what is needed in this space, rather than letting those thoughts spiral or allowing them to mean something that isn't true. It's so important that we are protective over your passions, pursuits, talents and voice.About Alison M.
