Bluetooth Solutions for Smart Buildings There are over 5.6 M buildings in the US which includes everything from arenas to warehouses. By far the two largest types of buildings are office buildings and warehouses. Using Bluetooth to manage office and warehouse lighting reduces the energy costs. 30% of lighting costs are wasted. Qualcomm's Gary Brotman (Senior Director and Head of AI & Machine Learning Product Management) and Hari Garlapati (Business Development & Technology Strategy) joined Mike Krell (our Head of IoT Strategy at James Brehm & Associates) to discuss the importance of edge computing for IoT solutions.
