I am finding this HobCast about two years too late! I have seen Hob the Troll at BARF for at least three or four years now. I have also seen many of his guests' shows (Bawdy Boys, Gwendolyn, Sirena, Bastard Monks). To me, listening to the HobCast episodes feels like sitting in on these friends' conversations. Keep up the great work, Hob! Can't wait for BARF!!

The HobCast is very enjoyable and my favorite things about it is that it's sweet, funny and uplifting. It's always a joy to listen to Hob!

This is a fun, lighthearted podcast that makes me smile whenever I listen to it. Whether you go to festivals or not, you will fall in love with the Hobcast. THAT IS AN ORDER!

I've listened to my 'faire' share of Renaissance related podcasts, and they all seem rather lacking. This one is very accessable to a listener anywhere. The other ones are just for Hardcore Rennies only. Anybody, anywhere can listen to this and be entertained. Oh! Let me talk about the music! Such a prolific songster!! Keep up the good work!!!!

Saw Hob the Troll at the Mich Ren Fest and if you get the honor of watching him sing you will have to ask yourself.. Is that a troll or an angel... Because his lyrics go right to your soul and his voice reminds you of a Pavarotti ... Or maybe that was the fifteen beers I drank out of a bull horn that day? Either way it's great times and fun to watch. Surprised to see he wasn't behind a gate while performing in fear of all the woman rushing the stage to get a touch of his rock hard abs.. But the more famous he gets we might see a Beatles fever from the 60's type fan base...

Hob is the man I love seeing him at the Michigan ren festival. Now I can listen to his sultry voice wherever I go. Thanks hob for making the podcast I can't wait for the next one!

Hob the Troll is one of the most colorful, high-spirited and classy characters to ever appear in the spotlight of stage and screen. Why a member of the Bawdy Boys was chosen to be on Hob's first Hobcast, I'll never know. I mean, they don't even have their own podcast. Pssssh. This charming young Troll will have you rolling with laughter and smiling uncontrollably at how precious he is. I give this Hobcast 10 stars (5 in this review and 5 in my heart).

I've been seeing Hob the Troll at ren-faires in Michigan for the last several years and he has managed to bring that charming character, that is remarkably visual because of his unique appearance, to an audio format without losing any of the quirkiness and brilliant humor and managing to keep the rich essence of the troll. Truly enjoyable and highly entertaining. I can't wait to see how this podcast develops! Listen to it now! I command you!
