Today’s episode is part 1 of a 2 part mini- series on creativity, permission to be playful and letting it be easy. Part 1 is an Instagram Live I did with Jen Liss of the Creative Commute  on the day I kicked off THYH and Part 2 is a convo we had a 1.5 months later that is just as fun and juicy!

The whole episode is just pure fun, laughter and a heap of #lillovebombs  but what really stood out is that we both just immediately give each other an unspoken permission slip to let loose, get silly, and have a really freaking good time. Our creative riffing lifted both of us to keep finding more joy as we dug in deep to reveal some nuggets that have held us back and set us free … like how to outrun the labels and boxes that are put on us, what manifesting really looks like, and why being creative in our approach always saves the day. Not to mention how to take a comment that you sound like William Shatner as a compliment and turn it to your advantage. I mean, it’s like a Jedi mind trick. I haven’t had that much fun and giddiness in a long time and that might be the biggest love bomb of them all. So let’s just jump straight into today’s #lillovebombs:

  1. Play more. Step into the things that give you the most joy… even if you don’t think they are in service of your big goal.
  2. Laugh. A lot. Embracing fun and laughter as a tool to achieve your goals allows for exponential expansion.
  3. Manifest like a mutha. Start with manifesting a penny or something better! I dare you to try it and share with me at [email protected]
  4. Get unstuck. You have the power to decide if your foot is stuck in the mud or if you can simply pull it out.
  5. Choose a word of the year. It’s a filter system for your actions and helps guide you to intentionality.
  6. Learn to Trust.
  7. Be weird. Perfection is boring.
  8. Clear out your backpack and revel in how light, inspired, and nimble you become.
  9. You are creative. Every thought or action we take is a creative act.
  10. Iterate often. Be willing to start where you are to get to where you want to be.
  11. Don’t go it alone. Surround yourself with a high vibe tribe whose eyes light up when they see you.
