In this episode of Health Buzz we dive into harm reduction surrounding substance use. Hosts Sara Odenthal and Rachel Gordan talk with Kyle Yoder and Michael Layeux with us from the UM student group, students for sensible drug policy (SSDP) about what harm reduction is and resources that can help save lives. We talk about what harm reduction is, common harm reduction tips (like fentanyl testing and naloxone access), the unregulated drug market, and policy that applies to UM students. Nat Brancaccio about her own story with losing someone to a drug poisoning death.
