This episode is raw, authentic and powerful! Interviewing Sammi was just like having a REAL conversation with a friend, there is so much depth and warmth to this episode. We recorded in person, sharing a cacao sitting on Sammi's couch where she shared so much of her wisdom and perspective on so many topics. We discuss boundaries, emotional sobriety, connecting with ourselves and honouring ourselves so deeply. Sammi is a Transformational Coach who I have personally worked with for my own personal transformational journey and gained a re-birthed mindset and so much clarity and releasing of old traumas and patterning which has helped me expand and heal. It was truly and honour to have her as a guest on The Healing Bridge Podcast.

I recently committed to doing an 11 day pranayama (breathwork) called Ekadasi, this ancient technique has been passed down in the yogic tradition to allow its users to cleanse their nervous system of trauma and emotions stored in cells ready to be released. During the 11 days I chose to stay off social media. I really enjoy social media and how people can communicate and express on it however I noticed that I was spending a ridiculous amount of time on it and I would tell myself that I didn't have time to practice yoga, create or meditate and I do I was just spending that time scrolling so I chose to reduce my use of it. Please let reach out and let me know if you'd like more information on how to do ekadasi, it is important this breathwork technique is completed properly.

Trigger Warning: This episode discusses mental illness and suicide.
In this episode I interview the author of Shattered Reality, Amanda Lynn. Shattered Reality is a powerful memoir to the transformative process of grief and loss that Amanda experienced first hand through the loss of her sister, Josie who chose to take her life.
Amanda is committed to helping others transform their lives so that they can experience exponential growth and joy. Her teachings are focused on awareness. She strongly believes that awareness is the catalyst for positive change: as soon as we become aware of the patterns that exist in our lives, true change can occur. These are all things that we discuss in this episode.

I thought it was time to get intimate with all of you and discuss a little bit about WHY I chose to deliver the Healing Bridge podcast. It really comes down to the fact that I really want to make my mess my message. I have made some monumental fuck ups in the past and have spent time in retreating inwards to understand why those fuckups occurred, what part I played in them and also really uncovered that healing around relationships (any kind not just romantic) really had to do with healing myself, gaining understanding of myself and my conditioning. I had a really big struggle with finding self worth, self compassion and self esteem and difficulty in releasing my emotions and holding on to things letting them bottle up until they couldn't be held in any longer. That in my life has looked like mental illness, emotional outbursts, unkind actions and breakdowns, seeking to fix others (forcibly sometimes) all to avoid looking inwards at my own shit. I had a real wounded healer vibe going on and somedays I still have that but that is few and far in between. Who I am today is completely different to the person I was 6months ago, and that is how powerful these past few months have been! Not just for me but for a lot of us and a big part of that has been in realising that I have the power to heal the parts of me I don't really want to look at, but there's also support. That I am innately worthy of good things. I don't have to spend this lifetime repenting but I choose to spend this lifetime remembering my own soul and shedding all of the BS that doesn't allow me to be empowered to be the most joyous version of myself the Warrioress, Mermaid, Fairy Queen I came here to be ;) and that message truly sunk in this year.

In this episode I sit down with one of my most impactful teachers to date, Ty Criddle. When you speak with Ty you can recognise that you are in the presence of ancient wisdom and sacred healing in the most humble form. Each conversation I have with him new depths of compassion, shedding layers of wounding and conditioning seem to naturally occur and my mind seems to expand. His journey to remembering his innate wisdom and gifts to play the didgeridoo and use sound to raise the vibration and release pain is unique (as are all of our healing journeys). We discuss ancient sound healing, outerworld and innerworld alignment, the importance of descension, peeling back layers, cacao, energetic balance and astrology.
I am so humbled and honoured that he was so willing to share with all of us.

In this episode I sit down with Men's Empowerment Coach, Fin McKenna-Fox and we discuss the importance of the men in this world stepping into their light, grounding down into their physical and emotional being, balancing their masculine and feminine energies and the importance of releasing shame and guilt so that they can show up fully as themselves FOR themselves, for their partners and children. Fin discusses how he helps men to build their own medicine pouches to regulate emotions and this includes, physical exercise, breath work and spending time in nature. This is such a powerful and honest conversation and I am so honoured to be able to share it with you.
