In this episode, I talk about the scientific benefits of crying. It seems to be common knowledge that 'crying it out' is helpful and healthy, but I didn't know why. I decided to do a dive into the benefits of shedding tears. In a society where men find it awkward to cry, I hope this inspires people to see the importance of crying. In this episode, I talk about the balance between mercy and justice. There is an idea that God has two hands, one for justice and one for mercy. I think that many modern American Christians lean too heavily towards the side of God's mercy, and I think it deincentives them to place God as a judge for their actions. Let me know if you feel I am wrong in my assessment, I would love to hear critiques.

This is one of my favorite episodes so far. I had the pleasure of having George Sisneros on the podcast. He is what I would consider a true Christian. He left his comfortable life in Colorado to pursue his goal of educating and helping those in need. He has been a full-time missionary in Guatemala for the past 10 years. He also just published a book about his experience moving to Guatemala and forming a missionary there called "Do You Love Me? Giving up the American Dream to Pursue the Underprivileged." He also created a Christian Academy for low-income Guatemalans through his missionary called Ordinary Missions.Check out his book here. I very much recommend it. https://www.amazon.com/Do-You-Love-Me-Underprivileged-ebook/dp/B0B65PK5QV/ref=sr_1_1?qid=1658521695&refinements=p_27%3AGeorge+Sisneros&s=digital-text&sr=1-1&text=George+SisnerosDonate to George's Ordinary Missionshttps://ordinarymissionaries.org/Books we also mentioned Dangerous Prayers - Craig Groeschelhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B07T9XJM4N/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1Radical - David Platt https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0036S4C9I/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1Crazy Love - Francis Chanhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C9QGYN0/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1God Has a Name - John Mark Comerhttps://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HAKH20S/ref=dp-kindle-redirect?_encoding=UTF8&btkr=1

It was a pleasure to have my longtime friend Pete Benda on the podcast. He reccounts a tragic accident that he had back in 2012 and how he has moved forward through that. We also talk about the morality and practicality of being a homosexual in today's world. It was a good conversation. In this episode, I sit down with Debra Terpstra, a mother, a podcaster, and a fitness coach. We talk about the recent documentary that has been released called "What is a Woman?" by Matt Walsh. It was an enlightening to hear the perspective of a mother with a daughter. I think that all parents should see this documentary before they decide which school to send their kids to."What is a Woman?" - https://www.dailywire.com/subscribe-today-twoCheck Out Deb's Podcast https://linktr.ee/Buffcake22Find All HSP Episodes Herehttps://theharleyseelbinderpodcast.buzzsprout.com/

#27 | Harley Explains a Dream He Had on Standing Up for What is True | The Harley Seelbinder Podcast
In this unusual episode, I explain I nightmare that I had recently after watching the documentary, "What is a Woman?" by Matt Walsh. I think this documentary is important because it brings up a topic that is not readily talked about. I think that every topic is worth talking about, hence this podcast. I will release more episodes about "What is a Woman" in the future, but I felt as if this was important to share. I also think that dreams bring up things in people's lives that are very important for them to be thinking about.
