The Good In Today
The Good In Today
Danny Hoefelmann
This is "The Good In Today" podcast! My name is Danny Hoefelmann. No matter how bad a person's day is, I believe there is always some good in it. This is my place to highlight positive stories happening in the world today and to talk about taboo conversations that I wish more people were willing to open up about. As someone who has struggled with mental health for most of his life, this is the next step in my journey to help better understand how to overcome my struggles. I'll do this by bringing on guests who can give their expertise and use their own stories to help other people through the process.

On this episode, I'm talking about a lesson I learned from my wife on how to talk to yourself in a way that actually builds you up!

Life Isn't In Your Control | T.G.I.T. E004
Today I'm talking about why I believe we'd all be better off if we would acknowledge that we aren't in control. There are things that we can control but we never know what life is going to throw at us. I go into what life was like when I got laid off and the lessons that it taught me: - We are capable of more than we think if we don't fight it and embrace being out of our comfort zones. - What we tie our identities to can make us or break us.
