Dear 9th Precinct, Space ships have landed on the Bowery and we are waiting for you to ticket and tow them!!!!!!If there is a crime way you can take the Bowery Hotel and converted it to a prison because it looks like one!!!!!!!!I went to sleep in the East Village and woke up in a bad xerox of Dubai and NYU and Cooper Union NYU jr mega dormed and supersized our historic neighborhood and fellow real estate magnates joined higher ed in the destruction of our community and history.

The Going is a fictional short story about 9-11 and this is my first podcast.  I share my thoughts about writing The Going, read you an excerpt and talk about the significance of this story looking back now.
