I wrote these 2 poems both entitled “Tompkins” while sitting in Tompkins Square Park and I drew the trees over head. The poems have the same title but 2 different perspectives. I submitted them to The New Yorker and of course they rejected them. I am like Groucho Marks and you know what he said about any club...
