They are all from different personal and professional backgrounds but have one thing in common - They are black. They share personal and professional experiences of racial oppression in the country they call home. We explore police civilian prejudice, brutality and intimidation, the complexities of the justice system and health disparities that have become even more exposed with the onset of Covid-19. These men share their view on the US' government's response to Covid-19 in comparison to the response of the Opioid crisis. The impact on the black community in America has been compounded by the recent tragedies with the death of Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor and George Floyd. Derrick now is a recent college grad & Software Developer at Chevron. Kwame – a Ghanaian American, moving to the US at the age of 7years old. Kwame is a resident doctor currently training in Anaesthesiology in New York. He recently has been working on the front line in hospitals in New York treating COVID-19 patients He is also the founder and president of the non-profit organization, Odarah Outreach. David – a black British citizen who moved to the US 18 years ago when he left the UK to attend University in America. He is the founder and CEO of Global Village Advisors a financial advisory services firm. Prior to GVA, he has worked in investment banking namely Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
