Australian Karyn Alley Lenehan was working in a gym when she was spotted as a potential Gladiator, but she was about to travel the world with her boyfriend. 

They both tried out as challengers and she was ill on the day, but none of that mattered because after she did her rope climbs and push ups, Delta was born. The boyfriend was a Challenger later in the series.

Delta  was supposed to be the nasty one, but couldn’t do it - and did her own thing to showcase her upper body strength and fiercely competitive spirit and use it to her advantage

A wardrobe malfunction ensured she had a say in a new costume design and you’ll never guess who she had a spat with in rehearsals.
