Hey! Welcome to another episode of The Git Gud Podcast, the podcast about games and the people that make them all that much better.
In this episode, we discuss the future of mixed reality, otherwise known as MR, why I'm so excited about and why YOU should be more excited about it.
If mixed reality isn't on your radar, it definitely should be, as it is going to be a major game changer in terms of how we interact with technology and, in our case, how we'll game.
Imagine a survival horror game in your own house, or a milsim in an actual park... well, whatever it is you're imagining, just know that it will most likely become a reality as MR gets adopted by more and more people and the tech gets better and better.
Things are moving very quickly and the 2020s are going to be great for gamers; you honestly have no idea.

Hey and welcome to another episode of The Git Gud Podcast!
In this episode we'll be talking to my Lauran Carter, the head of communications at Modern Wolf Ltd., an independent publishing house with a people oriented approach to games development, which is wonderful, considering how bleak the current publishing landscape is.
We'll discuss her origin story, her company, her favorite game of this last decade and just take a moment to catch up, because the last time we spoke was months ago.
Lauran's a great person to know and she's one of the more emotionally open people you will encounter in this industry.
You can follow Lauran and Modern Wolf on Twitter, and if you really like her voice (I don't see why you wouldn't), you can also check out her podcast called The Super Cool Cast.

Hi and welcome to another episode of The Git Gud Podcast, the podcast about games and the people that make them all that much better. Today, we won't be talking to anyone but each other, as I want to share a bit about what I've experience playing 'Death Stranding' thus far.
Hideo Kojima is a master of establishing deep and meaningful gameplay loops and it's more than apparent in 'Death Stranding,' a game about making deliveries and reconnecting a fractured people.
I have been loving this game and I want to list a couple of reasons why.
I'm Annand Virk, and you're listening to The Git Gud Podcast, the podcast that's all about making connections.

Hey and welcome to another episode of The Git Gud Podcast. This time we'll be talking to a viewer of mine, David Romero, who also happens to be an IGL, captain and manager for his Rainbow Six Team in the Collegiate Rainbow Six League, (CR6 for short). When he's not playing Siege or managing the team, he's managing the community around esports events at UNC Chapel Hill, which is quite impressive for someone his age, especially since he's capable of delivering feedback in a measured and mature manner.
In this conversation we'll learn more about his responsibilities, what's coming up for his league and what's coming up for him.

Community management is one of the toughest, most under appreciated roles in the video games industry, as they're the primary resource games companies have for building and maintaining a playerbase, but the least talked about given that it fulfills such a core function of building games.
Today, we'll talk to Rim, a friend of mine of who does community management for Rainway, an app that lets you play your PC games anywhere. Rim's an enthusiastic, kind and loving person, who understands how to bring heart to any community she works with. You can follow here on Twitter here.

No guest today, folks, but I figured we'd have a nice personal chat about 'The Last of Us Part 2' a game I'm willing to bet that both you and I are very excited about! In this episode, I read a featured story from Gamespot, titled 'The Last Of Us 2 Is "Meant To Be Unsettling"' and discuss my thoughts about what I understand this game is going to be. We'll also get a chance to look over Naughty Dog's press release regarding the multiplayer component to TLOU2, or the lack thereof, and I'll quickly address the whole "forced diversity" argument a vocal minority enjoy bringing up in relation to this title.
Enjoy the episode, feel free to let me know what you think, leave a review wherever reviews can be found and share this with a friend!
