Not exactly a typical Get It Factory Podcast, but actually a bonus from the latest TGIF book release. The book is called The Thanksgiving Song, by Lee Haven. Regular podcast listeners may have heard the song before on Lee’s special appearance last year, but now its a book for families to share all year long.
Also, follow our friends The Lucky Valentines on all of their social media and music sites, and listen to the podcast we did with them here: https://thegetitfactory.com/episode-8-the-lucky-valentines/
Enjoy!

Darrel Campbell was a stranger before we recorded this episode of TGIF Podcast, but now he’s our best friend. If you take the subjects that between the two of us, we find most fascinating, sports and entertainment, and wrap them up into a kind, funny, talented human being, you would get our best pal Darrel. There was simply not enough time in the day to discuss everything we would have liked with the former soap opera star, television writer, author, producer, director, entrepreneur, and of course best buddy of all current employees of The Get It Factory.
We did get to talk a lot about his past, his passions, and of course his experiences with the subject of his new book HERO AND FRIEND, Pistol Pete Maravich. Darrel worked with Pete to write the movie Pistol: Birth of a Legend, which is an absolute must watch for anyone who has ever bounced a basketball. In working together on the movie, Pete and Darrel became great friends and chatted so much a movie couldn’t cover it all, and so the also wrote Pete’s autobiography, Heir To A Dream.
Needless to say. We had an amazing time talking with Darrel and hope to do it again real soon.

Dancers from our dance studio have been clamoring for us to try and get Amanda LaCount on the podcast for weeks. Since she appears to be one of the busiest people in Hollywood, we assumed getting any of her time would be a long shot. Needless to say, we were thrilled when she agreed to join us over FaceTime from her home in Los Angeles.
Amanda is a professional dancer and actress who has been seen on many music videos, awards shows, commercials, and television programs including The Ellen Show, Good Girls, and Breaking Up Together starring Pam Beasley Halpert. Besides being an amazing dancer, Amanda is a body-positive activist and role model to dancers and young people all over the world.
Check her out!

We were extremely lucky to have a true pro come to the Factory this week. Kevin Bozeman has been making people laugh for two decades and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. We got to enjoy a red Solo cup full of wine with him as we talked about everything from politics, to Brandon Phillips, to Santa Claus. Kevin is a great human with fantastic comedy timing and a story that was a blast to hear. Listen to him here, then go follow him on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. You’ll be glad you did. https://www.facebook.com/KevinBozemanComedian/ – https://www.instagram.com/kbstandup/ – YouTube

It has been a brutal February in Great Falls, MT where we record The Get It Factory Podcast, so we were naturally curious when we found out this week’s guest moved here from Florida. We are thrilled we asked him to join us to explain because we learned the reason for the move and so much more about one of the nicest humans we’ve ever interviewed. Tim Lee Michael is bringing a new voice with new creative ideas and big dreams to the stations at Staradio, and we’re excited to see it all come together for the benefit of everyone who loves to be entertained. Enjoy Tim’s story, its a good one.
